DTI NORTHERN SAMAR AND LGU SAN ROQUE IN PARTNERSHIP CONDUCTED ENHANCE TRAINING ON FOOD PROCESSING.

30 participants from different barangay’s in San Roque, Northern Samar were trained to process macaroons, cookies and san nicolas.
DTI Northern Samar through its Negosyo Center San Roque in partnership with the ever-supportive LGU San Roque headed by Municipal Mayor Maria Ana “Ate Mean” G. Abalon together with DTI-STIDS Ralph Delizon, Ma’am Clotilde Soria-Municipal Agriculture and Porferio Baluyot Designated Market Supervisor, successfully conducted Enhanced Training on Food Processing for the beneficiary of the Shared Service Facility on Food Production with Costing and Pricing in San Roque, Northern Samar dated November 20-22, 2022.

LGU SAN ROQUE PARTICIPATED THE NATIONAL COASTAL CLEAN-UP CELEBRATION.

With the aim of contributing to the cleanliness of the country’s coastal areas, Local Government Unit of San Roque headed by Mayor Maria Ana Gaborni Abalon participated in the National Coastal Clean-Up Celebration today, September 17, at Barangay Lao-angan, Barangay Zone 6 and Zone 3. The community, spearheaded by barangay officials also actively joined the activity. Thru the united efforts of the volunteers and stakeholders, bags of garbage were collected.

With the full support of our dear Municipal Mayor Don L Abalon. It was participated by the identified MAM & SAM children with their caregivers and nutritionally at-risk pregnant and lactating women. Our dear Municipal Health Officer Dr. Arriane Khay Aclan enlightened the audience on theme related topic “Malnutrisyon patuloy na labanan, First 1000 days tutukan.” It was further enjoyed by the series of nutrition related games. The most highlighted segment was the distribution of food packs to the identified target participants with the assistance of our SP member Dr. Mary Ann G. Avalon with the SB members of LGU San Roque. To all RHU staff, BNSs, and to everyone who helped us realize this activity, THANK YOU AND THANK YOU.
